ddie Jordan established Jordan Grand Prix in 1990 in preparation for his first season of competition in Formula One. Eddie Jordan Racing, the original Jordan team founded in 1980, operated from a industrial unit inside the grounds of Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire, UK, and several of Jordan Grand Prix�s current employees have worked for EJ since long before the team competed in F1. Since 1991, Jordan Grand Prix has been based at a purpose built factory across the road from Silverstone circuit and the team has grown from 43 employees in its first season, to around 200 staff in 2004.
