Shell out more

he Sunday Times is increasing its price to �1.50. The 10 p rise brings The Sunday Times, Britain�s biggest selling broadsheet newspaper, into line with The Observer and the Independent on Sunday and makes it 10 p more expensive than The Sunday Telegraph, which went up to �1.40 last month. The price rise coincides with the recent relaunch of the Month, backed by a major television and radio advertising campaign using the strapline "All-round entertainment".

The Month appeared as a DVD for the first time last month and includes a documentary on the Stereophonics and their new album, Language. Sex. Violence. Other?, the pilot episode of US comedy Arrested Development, and previews of the films Be Cool and Robots. The Month was originally launched by The Sunday Times in August 2003 as a monthly CD-rom-based entertainment preview. The DVD will be produced a minimum of six times a year.... more
