rocter & Gamble, along with Child Relief and You (CRY) and Sony Entertainment Television (SET), has launched Shiksha, a programme to help underprivileged children across India. Consumers who buy a large pack of either Tide, Ariel, Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Rejoice, Vicks Vaporub or Pampers in April, May and June will help support one day�s education of one child per pack they purchase. In addition, P&G; has committed a minimum of Rs 1 crore to CRY.

Says Chester Twigg, director, sales and marketing, P&G;, "This initiative is part of P&G;�s global cause credo, �Live, Learn and Thrive� to support children in need the world over. " Celebrities Kajol, Perizaad Zorabian, Harsha Bhogle and Mandira Bedi will lend their support to the cause.... more
