onnie Screwvala, chief executive officer, UTV, which owns kids� television channel Hungama, says, "The year 2005 will be an eventful year for Hungama TV - on both the programming and the marketing fronts." With the kids� entertainment space getting crowded, the company has lined up a whole host of initiatives - both on air and on ground.

On April 17, the channel kicked off a nationwide on-ground cricket league, Full Toss Cricket Hungama Series (starting with Pune and Delhi). The series is based on its popular show Full Toss where kids get to play a no-rules cricket game with popular cricketers. The channel has roped in Parthiv Patel and Vinod Kambli to play with kids during this holiday season.... more
