hen The Brand Reporter said that Kinetic Motors needs to shift gears to meet the challenges posed by the newbies in Indian motown (Outside Honda�s Shadows, March 16-31), we were bang on target. Among its many new initiatives, the company has adopted a fresh brand logo to reflect its presumably new-found aggressiveness. It has introduced performance motorcycles Comet and Aquila, and has a few more initiatives up its sleeves. In some weeks it will unveil the Italjet range and export Nova to Latin America, South Asia, Middle East, Africa, North America, Europe and Australia.

The new logo, designed by Contract Advertising, replaces the old one that spelt out the word Kinetic in red and blue letters with a small forward arrow. The new logo is a metallic grey and silver unit indicating high precision engineering and a stately, elegant presence, says the company. The new logo aims "to capture the company�s brand essence of being aspirational".... more
