AV Max, Automonitor, Search and Chemical World, added yet another title to its portfolio this month: Better Interiors. A monthly magazine on the world of interiors, Better Interiors is priced at Rs 50. The first issue has a claimed print run of 50,000 copies. Architecture and interior designing is definitely an area of growing interest among urban households. In the US alone, there are at least 10 different magazine titles that address this niche - Home, House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, Better Homes, House and Garden, Metropolitan Home, Veranda, Elle D�cor, Southern Living and Cottage Living - each focusing on a specific area of what is broadly referred to as �home development�.
Coming back to Better Interiors, the editorial team will be led by Rupali Sebastian (executive editor), who was earlier the editor of Society Interiors and has also worked for Home Layout. She carries an experience of seven years in the field.
