BM plans to cut 10,000 to 13,000 jobs worldwide. The move is part of an effort to reorganise its management structure in Europe, which has remained largely unchanged for about 60 years.

IBM�s business in Western Europe has been flagging, so the company has been reorganising its administrative networks in Germany, Italy, Britain and France in an effort to bolster its technology services business.
