Your story on the National Geographic Channel (�A closer look at the world around us�, The Brand Reporter, May 1-15) and the channel's plans to dispel the impression of a wildlife-and-adventure channel was quite interesting. While on the one hand the channel wants to take this route, on the other, it has associated with Dharma Production's Kaal (the movie is a dud). Isn't this a case of mixed briefs? The channel needs to get its priority right. I personally think the channel should stick to its guns.

Happy days are here again for Thums Up (�Rolling Thunder�, The Brand Reporter, May 1-15). While soft drink marketers have firmly believed in the shout value, the Thums Up brand has emerged as the numero uno brand in the country despite having a small share in the advertising pie.
