Mrs Urban India: Brand skew

owe picked four key household utility products - detergent powder, shampoo, refrigerator and washing machine - and analysed the brand preferences of the five different types of women. Mrs Cool had a clear preference for moderately-priced brands - Surf Excel, Henko, Dabur Vatika, Kelvinator refrigerators and LG washing machines. Mrs Attention Seeker, on the other hand, preferred Wheel and Ariel in the detergent powder category, Pantene, Voltas refrigerator and Whirlpool washing machine. Mrs Moaner stuck to a mix of moderate and low-ticket products - Nirma, Sunsilk and Pantene shampoo, and indicated no definite choice of refrigerator or washing machine.
