Not out at 100

he BM Khaitan flagship Eveready Industries India unveiled a new logo on the occasion of its centenary. It has been designed by its agency Rediffusion DYR. The cat with nine lives remains at the centre of the new logo. Only this time it is seen jumping through the figure 100, (with motion lines behind it!) denoting the centenary year.

The Kolkata-based brand has also got a new baseline. �The next century of power�, it says, highlighting the company�s focus on the future rather than on its past. For the record, Eveready is the leader in the organised market for dry-cell batteries with around 46 per cent share of the Indian market.... more
